Week 61 - Postal

  • It was the boys’ parent-teacher consultations this week so we visited their classrooms to sit on teeny-tiny chairs. They received excellent feedback from their teachers. Just as importantly they both still skip happily into school each morning. Proud dad.
  • We bit the bullet and re-fixed our mortgage early. Rates are forecast to keep climbing next year, made much worse by Liz Truss and pals spooking the market before she was forced out, so it seemed wise to fix.
  • We spent Sunday in London with Andy and family who travelled up from Brighton. We visited the Postal Museum by Mount Pleasant for our day out. It was a hit. The boys started with the postal-themed indoor play area, we rode the underground Mail Rail and then explored the museum. And excellent burgers from Exmouth Market helped fuel them up.
