Presumably that was only hairy because Al was driving.

@losowsky @WarwickBoar Yes! I think he drove over a roundabout IIRC.

In reply to Andrew Losowsky Andrew Losowsky’s post on Twitter
@adambanksdotcom @WarwickBoar Oh we used to dream of ISDN. If we missed the courier, weโ€™d have to drive 90 minutesโ€ฆ https://twitter.com/i/web/status/975359594867445762

@losowsky @adambanksdotcom @WarwickBoar I think it was Tamworth. It wasn’t a deadline you wanted to miss. I remember one hairy drive in the Astra with Simon, Al and Dee for the (late) 25th anniversary edition. Good times!

Hiring junior developers is an investment into helping your senior developers grow and an investment into making tโ€ฆ https://twitter.com/i/web/status/963726038290370560

@StevieBuckley Some of our best people have started as juniors but quickly accelerated up through the team. They don’t stay junior very long. See also: people who move across to dev from other departments.

@barryf Iโ€™ve been looking into microblogs and IndieWeb, and I gotta say that Transformative looks really nice. :) Wโ€ฆ https://twitter.com/i/web/status/961369461222727680

@johankj Thanks! Yes, although it’s open-source (MIT licence), it’s probably a bit specific to my needs/design to be plug-and-play. I’d be happy to accept patches/issues though.

@barryf Aha thanks, I prefer Twitter though ๐Ÿ˜„

@PaulMMCooper No worries. Thanks for helping me learn about my local history.

In reply to Aaron Parecki Aaron Parecki’s post “Announcing the IndieAuth Spec!” on aaronparecki.com
It's been a long time coming, but I've finally published a proper IndieAuth spec! IndieAuth has been around for years, and is even referenced by the Micropubย spec. But until now, there wasn't a canonical version of the spec all in one place. Previous…

Nice! ๐ŸŽ‰ Looking forward to going through this to see what I’ve missed in my implementations.

@grayhaze I’ve been using Backblaze ( https://www.backblaze.com ) for a few years from my home iMac. It’s $5/month for unlimited backups. Happy to send you a referral link.

The fact that so many of those faces are still there since my time at Venntro says volumes mate. Good work.

@StevieBuckley I don’t think companies can compete nowadays unless they embrace remote. I think a big Irish guy told me that once.

Combination of #WomenBoycottTwitter and getting married tomorrow means Iโ€™ll be off here for a little while. Ta-ra!

@boffbowsh Woo! Good luck!

In reply to Neil Stanley Neil Stanley’s post “Tried hot corners?” on Twitter
Tried hot corners?

@nstanley Hot Corners never clicked with me when they were launched. I was always accidentally triggering them. Iโ€™ll try again.

@cronkshaw I do hope not. Bleak future if he takes the club private.

I'm more shocked Arsenal have a candidate for player of the month! ๐Ÿ˜‚

@simondevon What’s worse is that the winner was Kolasinac who had a shaky first match, was subbed off in the second and benched for third!

We've semi invested into Sonos in the house - quality is great and works pretty seamlessly - but no voice contol....yet

@cronkshaw Voice must be on Sonos’s roadmap but would need hardware I assume. I wonder if they could make a multi-microphone add-on.
